As summer fades and the rhythm of nature begins to slow, autumn offers us a gentle reminder that we, too, can pause. Join Sam for a nurturing Writing for Wellbeing workshop inspired by the changing season. As the days grow shorter and the world around us begins to turn inward, this session creates space to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself through reflective writing. Autumn is often seen as a season of transition; a time to gather, reflect and prepare for what lies ahead. Through a series of carefully guided writing prompts and mindful exercises, you’ll be encouraged to explore your thoughts, embrace stillness, and listen to the wisdom that can often be drowned out by the noise of daily life. This workshop is not about writing perfectly or producing polished work. It is about creating space for yourself. A space to pause. A space to reflect. A space to breathe. Whether you’re new to writing or have enjoyed journaling for years, you’ll be welcomed into a supportive and relaxed environment where there is no pressure to share and no right or wrong way to participate. Led by Sam from Mind, this two-hour session blends the therapeutic power of writing with the grounding energy of the natural world. Through a thoughtfully curated series of guided writing prompts, reflective journaling, and creative exercises, you’ll be encouraged to tune into your inner voice and explore the things you may be ready to release - old stories, lingering stress, outdated expectations, or simply the mental clutter that builds up over time. This is a workshop not about writing for performance or perfection, but about writing as a way of returning to your centre. You’ll be held in a calm, welcoming space - surrounded by the golden light and crisp air of mid-autumn - as you explore your thoughts with curiosity and compassion. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of lightness, clarity, and connection - both to yourself and to the gentle rhythm of the season. All…
