Menopause can bring with it all sorts of changes; some expected, some surprising, and many that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, take a breath and spend a couple of hours being looked after. Colour & Calm has been created as a gentle and supportive space where you can move, rest and reconnect with your body through yoga, breathwork and deep relaxation. There is no pressure to achieve anything, no need to keep up, and no expectation that your body should feel or move the way it once did. We'll begin slowly, settling into the space with a calming herbal tea and a chance to arrive. Together we'll explore simple breathing practices that can help soothe a busy mind, ease feelings of overwhelm and bring a little more balance to the body. Our yoga practice will be soft, nourishing and accessible, with plenty of options to adapt the movements to suit how you're feeling on the day. We'll focus on creating space in the body, releasing tension and moving with kindness rather than force. This is about listening to your body, not pushing it. Throughout the workshop we'll weave in gentle colour visualisations and moments of reflection, inviting a sense of calm, ease and restoration. As the afternoon unfolds, you'll be guided into deeply restful restorative yoga, supported by bolsters, blankets and stillness. We'll finish with a soothing guided relaxation, giving you the opportunity to completely let go, rest deeply and simply be. Our hope is that you leave feeling lighter, calmer and more connected to yourself, with a few simple practices you can return to whenever life feels a little too much. You'll also take home a gift of handmade bath salts, offering a small reminder to continue making space for yourself long after the workshop has finished. Whether you're moving through perimenopause, menopause, post-menopause, or simply curious about how yoga can support you during this stage of life, you'll be warmly welcomed…
