LINTON Roots invites you to a special community screening of The People's Emergency Briefing on Thursday 2nd July at 7pm in St Mary's Church. A powerful 50-minute film bringing the UK's leading climate and nature experts together to explain, in clear and accessible terms, what climate change means for every town and village in the UK, including ours. It highlights what is happening now and what could come within our lifetimes. The film shows evidence presented to MPs in Westminster on topics ranging from food, to health, to national security by experts in each field. It includes responses from the public and well known faces, offering both honesty and hope. For a village like Linton, this screening is an opportunity to come together, learn together, and talk about what matters for our shared future. There will be change in our village and what we do now together will ensure we continue to enjoy living here in the years to come. Whether you're concerned about climate change confusion in the media, are interested in practical solutions, or you're simply curious, you'll find the film engaging, human and surprisingly uplifting. Many who attended the original briefing said, although the facts are serious, they left feeling more optimistic about what we can achieve together by taking small local actions that add up. Join us, bring a friend, and be part of a conversation shaping Linton's future. Please book your free ticket: linton-roots@outlook.com or use the QR code above.
